News co-anchors César Bayona and Blanca Garza
Telemundo 48 Área de la Bahía /KSTS announced that News co-anchors César Bayona and Blanca Garza will anchor the stations new 5pm weekday newscast that will debut on Monday, September 26. With this local news expansion, Telemundo 48 will deliver 12 hours of local breaking news each week, more than any other Spanish-language station in the Bay Area.Additionally, Arlen Fernández has been named Consumer Investigative reporter for Telemundo 48s local Telemundo Responde (Telemundo Responds) consumer investigative unit, effective immediately. Moreover, Melissa Hernández and David González have been named Multi Media journalists. Hernández and González will report for the stations evening newscast, Noticiero Telemundo 48, which airs at 5:30pm, 6pm and 11pm. They will make their on-air debut in early September.”Our new 5pm newscast will provide our viewers with more local news, up-to-the-minute weather forecasts and consumer information, across all platforms.
